The Challenge
Context: Ingesting a 5,000 disc collection one by one is slow.
The “Speed Reader” was a bulk loader.
- Throughput: Ripped discs 15x faster than a standard player drive.
- Automation: Could drive an external robotic arm (in theory) or just be fed manually by a dedicated librarian.
